Ringway are looking for an Agent to join their team in Kirby Misperton to deliver Highway Maintenance schemes safely to programme and within budget.  Travel within the boundary of the County of North Yorkshire and to work from other depots will be required.


Key Tasks Include: 

  • Supervise and promote safe working methods
  • Assist with development of Health & Safety Plans (Construction Phase)
  • Ensure risk assessments are identified and put in place proper control measures & the appropriate methods for safe practice.
  • Work with clients to agree programmes and accounts.
  • Order the efficient use of plant and materials on daily basis.
  • Record site measurements and ensure valuations are generated on time
  • Undertake site inspections prior to work starting.
  • Assess traffic management requirements and comply with all TMA noticing.
  • Meet financial targets as set on individual schemes.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities using Allocation sheets daily
  • Ensure daily Allocation sheets are accurately completed
  • Manage daily plant & vehicle check sheets
  • Produce & monitor works programmes

 Experience/Qualifications Required: 

  • Good general education
  • Min 5 years’ experience in highway construction or related activities
  • Good communication skills, commitment to partnering and high quality service
  • Awareness of all company operating & safety procedures
  • Goo understanding of Quality Assurance
  • Working knowledge of The Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works
  • MS Office, Outlook, Project, Kheops, E Serve, Papyrus
  • Enthusiasm, good team player
  • Flexible in terms of working hours
