Eurovia UK Wins Awards for Innovation

Eurovia UK has won three awards out of 167 entries at the biennial VINCI Innovation Awards, held at the prestigious Institution of Civil Engineers in London. Eurovia UK is one of the leading highways infrastructure and maintenance companies in the country. Eurovia UK subsidiaries submitted 33 entries across Ringway, Eurovia Infrastructure and Ringway Jacobs; with eight being shortlisted including Eurovia Specialist Treatments’ Etnyre Chipping Spreader and Ringway Jacobs’ Think Safe, Home Safe campaign.

Ringway Hounslow Highways won the Partnership Prize for its innovative Collaborative Approach campaign. Working in partnership with the London Borough of Hounslow, Ringway Hounslow Highways’ aim was to improve relationships and build mutual trust with stakeholders by developing new and enhanced communication techniques that contributed to this award.

Hounslow Highways Divisional Manager, Martin Clack, said:

“This VINCI Innovation Award is recognition of how working with our colleagues and stakeholders can bring measurable improvements to our Ringway Hounslow Highways business; the contributions from the Eurovia team, council partners and resident representatives are at the core of this success. This innovation has improved the quality and efficiency of how we engage with our customers, reduced costs, enhanced our reputation and added value to our client and customer experience.”

Ringway Jacobs won the Sustainable Development prize with its Sustainable Anti-Scouring Protection scheme and achieved a Special Jury prize for its Cycle Superhighway initiative. Well done to all teams involved at Ringway Jacobs, a great achievement.

Eurovia UK Chief Executive, Scott Wardrop, said: “Eurovia UK embraces change, welcomes new situations and craves knowledge. The business is flexible and adaptable to new methods or practices and the VINCI Innovation awards demonstrate this. Congratulations to all the winners, and to VINCI for hosting another successful event.”
