Ringway commenced delivery of the Wiltshire and Swindon Highways Maintenance contract in April of 2016. The contract was successfully tendered through the competitive process with Ringway combining a sustainable price with the offer of a high quality service to the residents and businesses of Wiltshire and Swindon.

Set as two distinctly separate contracts Ringway will deliver Wiltshire Council routine maintenance including:

  • all aspects of drainage cleansing, survey  and repair
  • mechanical  sweeping
  • Street Lighting maintenance and repairs
  • Tractor operations
  • Structures maintenance
  • Pothole repairs

Also Ringway will be re-invigorating  the  flagship Parish Steward Service which is the cornerstone of the Council’s focus on delivering local services for the community,  from within the community.

These works are combined with limited capital schemes for Wiltshire Council upgrading drainage, structures and delivering small integrated transport works .

Working on behalf of Swindon Borough Council Ringway will deliver predominantly capital works including such aspects as machine surfacing, street lighting schemes and drainage upgrades whilst routine and reactive works are delivered by the Swindon Borough Council Direct Labour Organisation capabilities.
