Alan - Finance Officer

My role involves ensuring that costs are properly accounted for to give financial information for the division. This involves ensuring that the accounts are accurate for management reports, working with the quantity surveyors to get liabilities and revenues into SAP helping produce management report information.

My typical day involves ensuring suppliers are being paid in a timely manner and that the costs are being coded to the correct places in our accounts. This allows management reports to be as accurate as possible.

I also have to work with the other departments to provide reasons for any variances which may exist.
