Job Title:  Contact Centre Advisor

Location: Newport, Isle of Wight

Contract:  Permanent

Hours:  Full Time

Ringway Island Roads are seeking a Contact Centre Advisor who will be based at Newport in the Isle of Wight


Key Tasks/Accountabilities: 

  • Answer telephone, log and process enquiries/jobs as necessary
  • Process email and web enquiries
  • Liaise with other colleagues, as necessary, in the processing of enquiries
  • Ensure communication is dealt with within contractual time scales
  • Support other activities within the Hub
  • Maintain and update the Management Information System 


  • Call centre experience
  • Effective communication and good telephone manner
  • Experience of the Highways Industry
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated initiative
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Proficient in all MS Office programmes


Please note this vacancy will be on rotating night shift pattern, 4 Nights on shift, 4 days off, including bank holidays.
