SWH awarded second framework by Devon County Council for Carriageway Resurfacing

SWH has been successfully awarded a place on Devon County Council’s Carriageway Resurfacing, Reconstruction and Patching contract.

Our teams will be delivering resurfacing services in the North, East and South of the county from 1 May.

This new contract illustrates the positive relationship that the SWH has with Devon County Council - they have successfully delivered many schemes through the Council’s former Highway Structural Maintenance Framework 2012-2015 for this important regional client.

This contract is worth up to £20m, and SWH is one of several contractors that will deliver these services until 30 April 2022.

Richard Towl, Managing Director of SWH, said: “Being appointed to the Framework is fantastic news for our Surfacing Team and we look forward to further extending our partnership with the Council.

“We have been appointed for every Lot that we tendered for, which reflects the great efforts of our pre-construction team. Thanks also goes to Eurovia UK for all of their support with this important regional bid.”
